My first visit to Richie’s Car Wash was a great experience. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful from the start. What impressed me most was the self-service detailing area, which includes clean microfiber towels and separate products for glass, carpets, and other interior surfaces.
There’s also a dedicated mat cleaning station for carpet, rubber, and all-weather mats.
Another standout feature was the compressed-air machine, which makes it much easier to remove dust and debris from hard-to-reach areas. It’s something I haven’t seen offered at many other car washes around Villa Park.
They were also running a promotion for $10 per month for the first three months, which made the value even better. Overall, it was one of the better car wash experiences I’ve had in the area, and I’d definitely recommend checking it out.

This is a very well-run car wash, and I’d honestly describe the experience as phenomenal. The staff was outstanding—very friendly, professional, and clearly keeping everything running smoothly. The vacuums worked great, and I also noticed what looked like a new dryer at the end of the wash. It’s clear they’re continuing to invest in the property and improve the experience, and those upgrades are paying off. It’s great to see that kind of effort being put into a local business here in Villa Park.
